How It Plays
Torchbound is an arena survival game. You move a knight around a crypt arena and your knives fire on their own, at your mouse or at the nearest enemy. Rats, bog slimes, cave bats, lurker spiders, cyclops slingers and wisp ghosts come at you in 6 waves, and each wave is harder than the last.
Defeated enemies drop XP. Every time you level up the game pauses and you pick 1 of 3 upgrades, like more knives per throw, orbiting axes or faster dashes. Your build shows down the left side.
At 3:00 the Ember Fiend arrives. It fires rings of shots, starts charging at you below 60% health, then gets enraged below 25% and fires a spiral while it charges. Beat it and you win. If your HP hits zero the knight has fallen, and if the Fiend is still standing at 5:00 the round ends. A new round starts on its own 12 seconds later.
Your viewers decide how hard it gets. Help gifts heal you or give you a free upgrade. Hinder gifts send more enemies, light fire traps near you or summon the boss early. The gifter's name shows when their gift lands, and the results screen lists the top gifters.
Gift Effects Table
These are the default gifts. You can change any of them in Settings, and each gift can only do one thing.

Gift streaks count every gift, so a streak of 5 Roses sends 5 rat packs. Likes and comments do nothing in Torchbound.
Upgrades
11 upgrades, each with a limit on how many times you can take it.
- Whetstone: +25% damage (up to 5 times)
- Quick hands: +18% fire rate (up to 5 times)
- Fan of knives: +1 knife per throw (up to 4 times)
- Barbed tips: Knives pierce +1 enemy (up to 3 times)
- Swift boots: +12% move speed (up to 4 times)
- Stout heart: +25 max HP and heal 25 (up to 4 times)
- Lodestone: +50% pickup range (up to 3 times)
- Shadow step: -20% dash cooldown (up to 3 times)
- Troll blood: Regenerate 1 HP a second (up to 3 times)
- Orbiting axes: +1 axe circles you (up to 3 times)
- Lucky charm: +10% critical hit chance (up to 4 times)

How to Add Torchbound to TikTok LIVE with TikFinity and OBS
- 1. Try it with practice gifts. Open the Torchbound play page and click the arena to start. Use the Practice Gifts buttons to see what each gift does. They work without TikTok and never show on the overlay.
- 2. Pick your gifts in Settings. Open Settings, choose Live mode and change any gift you want. Restore default gifts puts the list back.
- 3. Copy the overlay link. In Settings, under Add to your stream, click Copy link. The link keeps your gift choices.
- 4. Add it to OBS. Add a Browser source at 1920 x 1080 and paste the link. Right-click the source and choose Interact to play with keyboard and mouse.
- 5. Keep TikFinity connected and go LIVE. Keep the TikFinity Desktop App open and connected to your LIVE so gifts reach the game.

Streamer Tips
- Tell chat the split before you start: Finger Heart and Rosa help you, the other gifts make it harder.
- Galaxy summons the boss straight away, so call it out when someone sends one early.
- Dash through rings of boss shots. You can't be hurt while dashing.
- Run a round with practice gifts before your first LIVE so you know what each gift looks like when it lands.
