Vibe Code Your Own TikTok LIVE Game

Start with a working TikFinity Events API connection, describe the game in plain English, and let an AI coding tool return one HTML file you can test locally.

Before you start

You need Windows, an AI coding tool that accepts file attachments, and the TikFinity Desktop App. That is Harry's affiliate link. TikFinity says its Desktop App must run on the same computer as the game.

1

Install and set up TikFinity

Install TikFinity Desktop, create or sign in to your account, and complete TikFinity's normal setup. The local Events API uses ws://localhost:21213/.

2

Download the starter pack

The pack contains a working connection example, beginner notes, and event-envelope examples. Keep the files together and attach all of them to the AI chat.

3

Open a fresh AI chat and attach the files

Use a new chat so the prompt has to stand on its own. Attach the unzipped HTML, API notes and event examples before you paste anything. Do not upload passwords, stream keys, browser cookies or account credentials.

4

Copy the complete master prompt

Paste this exactly after attaching the starter files. The AI should ask one question before it writes the game.

Beginner TikFinity game prompt
You are helping a complete beginner create a custom interactive browser game for TikTok LIVE using TikFinity. I have no coding knowledge. I have attached starter files containing a working TikFinity Events API connection, documentation and examples. Treat them as the source of truth. Preserve the working connection code and never invent event names, payload fields, ports or API behaviour. First ask exactly one question: What should happen in your game, and what should viewers be able to trigger? After I answer, build one self-contained HTML file with its CSS and JavaScript inside it. Make it clear at 1080 x 1920 for LIVE Studio or OBS. Use only viewer actions supported by the supplied files. Put colours, text, thresholds, mappings and difficulty together near the top of the JavaScript. Add an on-screen event log, test buttons, Start and Reset controls, and protection against repeated events freezing the game. Do not require npm, hosting, a database or extra libraries unless the supplied framework genuinely requires one. Return the complete HTML in one code block, then give simple save, test, TikFinity and capture instructions. Ask before guessing and never request passwords, stream keys or account credentials.

5

Answer with one simple game idea

Keep the first version small. For example: “The streamer dodges falling objects. A Rose spawns one object, likes increase the speed, and a follow restores health.” Ask for one change at a time after the first version works.

6

Save, test, connect and capture

  1. Copy the returned code into a plain-text file and save it with an .html extension.
  2. Open it in a browser. Prove Start, Reset and every test button before connecting LIVE events.
  3. Open TikFinity Desktop and confirm the game's connection status changes to connected.
  4. Trigger each mapped action through TikFinity's testing tools before using a real LIVE.
  5. Add the local HTML to OBS as a browser source, or capture its browser window in TikTok LIVE Studio. Crop and lock the source.
  6. Send a burst of test events. The game should stay responsive and Reset should restore a clean state.

When something breaks

Paste the exact error and your current HTML into the same AI chat. Ask it to fix that error without changing the working TikFinity connection. Re-test the last working action before adding anything else.

Beginner questions

Do I need coding experience?

No. The starter pack and prompt are written for a complete beginner. You still need to test what the AI generates before showing it on a LIVE stream.

Does TikFinity need to stay open?

Yes. TikFinity Desktop must run on the same Windows computer as the game so its local Events API is available.

Which events can I use?

TikFinity currently documents chat, gift, share, follow, like, roomUser and subscribe events. Use the supplied notes and current TikFinity documentation for payload fields instead of asking the AI to guess.

Can I publish or share the result?

Review the generated code and any assets first. Do not ship copied artwork, brands, music or code you do not have permission to use.
