One timely roll could save the run.

Viewers Control Dead Cells on TikTok LIVE: Complete Tutorial for Beginners

Give viewers a small combat panel for your next biome: a weapon tap, a skill or a last-moment roll. Keep exploration under your hand until chat understands the loadout, because every dodge has a direction and every death ends a run.

Before playing Dead Cells with viewers

This is a single-player Dead Cells challenge using viewer keyboard input. Runs reset on death, although permanent unlocks can remain. Clear combat queues before starting again and explain that a queued roll is an experiment in timing, not a guaranteed rescue.

Dead Cells: default PC keys

Default PC keyboard controls use WASD or arrows for movement, Space for jump (also W or Up), Shift or Ctrl for dodge roll, Q/E for left/right skills, R to interact and F or H to heal. Mouse LMB/RMB operate the weapons, with 1/2 as default keyboard alternatives; 3/4 also select skills. A mouse is optional for combat with those alternatives. Always check your own keybinds in the game's settings, especially after changing a loadout or control preset.

Why these durations suit Dead Cells

Use 60 ms for roll because the key triggers a dodge animation rather than sustaining a dash. Its cooldown still applies, so a gift streak cannot guarantee repeated invulnerability. A separate 90 ms direction nudge can overlap an 80 ms jump, but confirm facing before asking for a roll. The 70 ms weapon taps suit single attacks; charged or held weapons need their own tested action. Healing deliberately holds for 1,500 ms to cover the channel, which can still fail if interrupted or if no flask charge remains.

Connect TikFinity to Dead Cells

  1. On the Windows gaming PC, start TikFinity Desktop and close its browser version. Complete Setup and TikTok login, then show your Dead Cells loadout in LIVE Studio or OBS so the audience knows what weapon 1 and weapon 2 currently do.
  2. Open Actions & Events and create Dodge roll with Simulate keystrokes. Select Shift, enable game compatibility mode and follow the installation prompt when needed. Enter 60 ms for the hold; 1,000 ms = 1 second. Duplicate it for the other keyboard actions, including the much longer optional flask hold.
  3. Use screen 1 for jump/roll, screen 2 for left/right and screen 3 for up/down. A screen is a queue, so directions can overlap evasive actions while opposing directions stay serialised. Weapons and skills share screen 4; deliberate interactions and heals use screen 5. Add all used URLs as Link sources in LIVE Studio or Browser sources in OBS.
  4. Choose Sending a specific gift for each event and match it to the correct action. Keep Repeat with gift combos off for skills, rolls and heals, with short queues and Skip on next action off initially. Keep the heal event disabled during fights and enable it only when the host has found a safe position.
  5. In a cleared room, press the play icon for Dodge roll and switch to the game within 5 seconds. Confirm the roll direction and test weapon 1 once. Event Simulator cannot produce keystrokes. Check game focus if the alert appears without a move, then demonstrate jump with an overlapping direction before accepting combat gifts.

Dead Cells stream tips

Frame your Dead Cells stream

Put CSS weapon-slot boxes under the health bar and a larger roll box beside them. Leave skill cooldowns and flask charges visible in the game capture. Display 'heal paused' whenever its event is disabled so viewers can choose an active action.

The key boxes use CSS, with no game artwork. Alert display time controls alerts and TTS separately from key holds.

Dead Cells FAQ

Do weapon gifts need a mouse remap?

No. The default layout includes keyboard 1 and 2 alongside the mouse weapon buttons. Verify those alternatives in your settings and use the keyboard keys in TikFinity.

Why did two roll gifts produce only one dodge?

A second input can arrive during the roll cooldown or another animation. Keep the evasive queue short and do not promise one successful dodge for every gift.

Can a healing gift always save the run?

No. Healing needs an available flask charge and time to complete. Keep it disabled during combat and offer it as a deliberate action from a safe room.
